Set of official scorecards from Day 1 of the 1964 Oklahoma City Open held at the Quail Creek Golf and Country Club on May 14-17, 1964. Arnold Palmer was the winner of the tournament and his scorecard is clear and bold with a signature that rates a "9" out of a possible 10. Each golfer, including Palmer, signed two handwritten scorecards, one for themselves and one for their partner as a witness. Palmer filed out and signed as a witness the scorecard of his partner, "Champagne" Tony Lema, who in turn filled out and signed Arnie's second card. Thus, here are two early Palmer signatures. A complete set of golf scorecards is almost never seen. The signatures are in clean pencil and average an "8.5" out of a possible 10. Signers include Palmer, Ray Floyd, Miller Barber, George Archer and many, many more. Call for a list of cards. Each card measures approximately 11 x 3 1/2". The cards were folded but otherwise EX-MT.
