1964 Pete Rose Signed Bank Check
Years before he admittedly paid off bookies, Pete Rose signed off on this rare check to his teammate, Tommy Helms, and countersigned by Helms and two others. The check, issued by Fifth Third Union Trust in Rose's hometown of Cincinnati, has multiple cancellations and is in EX condition. The writing and signature grade 7/10 in blue pen. It is dated Dec. 29, 1964, after Rose's second full season in the majors.
