1964 Sonny Liston vs. Cassius Clay Fight Program
"I am the Greatest," a cocky Cassius Clay proclaimed soon after defeating Sony Liston in Florida, the first of their two encounters in 1964. This is the official site program for the first fight between the two held on Feb. 25 at the Miami Beach Convention Hall. There is a small stain on the front but otherwise is in EX condition and unscored. This would be the last fight as "Cassius Clay" for the man who would rename himself Muhammad Ali just days after this bout, after joining the Nation of Islam.
