1964 Topps Outer Limits Display Box Top - Original File Copy!
Offered is a display box top of what is universally recognized as one of the scarcest and most desirable non-sports gum card issues of the 1960s, the 1964 Monsters from The Outer Limits. This style of this "Outer Limits" counter display box was to hold 120 one-cent packs, and includes a creepy sci-fi monster appearing on the top. This extremely popular non-sport set was issued by Topps through its Bubbles, Inc. arm. This box top originates from the files of Topps Chewing Gum, and is in tremendous condition, with only a very small crease along the bottom edge. The reverse (underside) has the date "11/25/64" written in pencil, indicating the date this box top was filed. The box top measures 7.5x7.5" and has the black color similar to the cards which were issued. This is a stunning file copy box top from one of the most popular non-sports sets of the 1960s, one which has broad appeal to both card, science fiction, pop culture, and television collectors.
