1964 World Champion St. Louis Cardinals Game Worn Jacket

1964 World Champion St. Louis Cardinals Game Worn Jacket

Stunning player jacket was game worn by the recently deceased Johnny Lewis, best known for breaking up Jim Maloney's no-hitter with a home run. Used for the colder days of September and October especially, this was just perfect for the oncoming World Series versus the New York Yankees and Mickey Mantle's final, record breaking World Series home run in St. Louis. Name written in dates this definitively to the Cardinals' 1964 World Championship season as Johnny only played for St. Louis that one banner year.
