1965-1969 Ron Santo Chicago Cubs Game Used Bat

1965-1969 Ron Santo Chicago Cubs Game Used Bat

Ron Santo H&B pro-model ("S2") bat dating from the 1965-1969 manufacturing period. The bat, which measures 34.5 inches in length and weighs 30 ounces, is not cracked and displays excellent use, including ball marks, heavy checking (grain separation) on all sides of the barrel, and pine tar on the upper handle. The bat also displays loss of finish and water staining near the top of the barrel. A nine-time All-Star, Santo was one of the Cubs' top players during the 1960s and early 1970s. Santo averaged 22 home runs and 88 RBI a year over the course of his fifteen-year career, and finished with a lifetime average of .277. He was elected to the Hall of Fame in 2012.
