1965-66 Tom Watkins Game Worn Detroit Lions Jersey
His natural speed and power made Tom Watkins the perfect fit for a town nicknamed "Motor City". The versatile running back and punt returner, who enjoyed a career that spanned the 1960's, recorded his most productive seasons while wearing this extremely rare Detroit Lions jersey. The short lived, two-year style jersey is constructed of heavy cotton fabric and screened with his number "23" in gray on the front, back, and shoulders. Great use is evident in the form of multiple, vintage team repairs that can be found throughout. The tail tagging from Champion reads [size] "44". Also included are a pair of original Lions leggings from the same period that display nice use as well.
