1965-68 Roberto Clemente Game Used Bat (PSA GU 9)

1965-68 Roberto Clemente Game Used Bat (PSA GU 9)

One of the nicest Roberto Clemente bats that we have handled. From the prime of his career, this one could have been used during his 1966 MVP season. Hillerich & Bradsby model U1 is 36 inches long and weighs 36.1 ounces. It matches perfectly to the H&B factory records that detail the orders made by Clemente during the 1965-68 period. Of special note, this bat has the all important "21" written on the knob in vintage black marker. Everything that you would want to see on a Clemente game used bat including ball marks on both sides of the barrel, black ink transfers (from NL ball labeling), cleat marks and bat rack marks. In addition to the fine use, the bat is uncracked and entirely original, meaning that it was never repaired and never needed to be repaired. The center-band and barrel labeling are clear and deep. All that one could ask for in a Roberto Clemente game used bat. Graded GU 9 by PSA and comes with full letter.
