1965 Casey Stengel Photograph (PSA Type I)
Original Type I photograph capturing Mets manager Casey Stengel mugging for the camera during the 1965 Mets Old-timers Day festivities. Stengel is seen here wearing a Brooklyn Dodgers cap (one of his former teams during his playing days) as he gives the cameraman a wink. A "United Press International" credit stamp appears on the reverse, along with the original paper news caption (dated "7/24/65"). The photo (6.5x8.75") has been slightly trimmed to its current dimensions and displays a few light creases. Culled from the legendary Brown Brothers Photo Archive. PSA encapsulated as Type I Authentic.
