1965 Don Larsen Baltimore Orioles Game Worn Jersey
Don Larsen is most remembered for pitching the sixth perfect game in MLB history, doing so in Game 5 of the 1956 World Series. It is the only no-hitter and perfect game in World Series history and is one of only two no hitters in the MLB postseason. From his 1960s days in Baltimore comes this remarkable Baltimore Orioles zipper front road jersey. The light gray jersey features "Baltimore" in orange on black felt on the front and his "18" below. The back features a larger "18" in the same material and color scheme. The rectangular gray felt tag stitched into the collar reads "65 18 44" indicating the year, player number and size. The tag is slightly loose but has not been replaced or repaired. The bright blue Spalding front tail tag is crisp and still firmly attached as is the washing instructions and "Set 1 - 1965" flag. This all original, game used jersey shows moderate use and has a beautiful overall appearance. Personally signed by Larsen in 8/10 blue Sharpie, one might say this jersey is "perfect."
