1965 Milt Pappas 100th Major League Win Trophy
Trophy commemorating the 1965 milestone in which pitcher Milt Pappas notched his 100th career victory. Measures 14.75" tall on a 7.75x4.25" wood base; bronze baseball on top reads, "100 Major League Wins - May 13, 1965 - Baltimore 3, Cleveland 2 - Milt Pappas." Plate on front is engraved with the identical verbiage. While we're not sure who originally presented this, we can state that it came from the Pappas collection. Shows some wear, particularly to the wood base; stands in EX condition. Pappas amassed a career record of 209-164 with a 3.64 ERA in a solid, if unspectacular, 17-year MLB career.
