1965 Minnesota Twins World Series Banner

1965 Minnesota Twins World Series Banner

Twins fans will cherish this memento from the 1965 season that saw Minnesota win its first pennant and give the Dodgers a seven-game fight in the World Series before succumbing. The 98"-long, 45"-tall banner displayed at Metropolitan Stadium during that magical season. The red, white and blue cotton flag is symmetrical with blue at each wing, red in the middle and white in between. The center is decorated with the traditional club logo and "Win Twins!" message, as well as a red-letter proclamation of the "1965 WORLD SERIES." There are four metal eye hooks on the thick border that lines the top of the banner, which grades EX/MT. Included in the lot is a Harmon Killebrew photo (fascimlie) & a Tony Oliva-signed baseball.
