1965 Orlando Cepeda Game Worn Pants
The felt rectangle with "Orlando Cepeda 1965" embroidered on it lets you know that these 1965 Giants uniform pants belonged to the Baby Bull himself. Plenty of use on road Wilson Size 36 from old parks around the National League during Cepeda's shortened season due to a knee injury. Both shins are patched up, and dirt stains blotch the derriere. Giants' orange and black piping run down the leg. "The Mule" handwritten in marker on the front of the waistband and the number "18" written on the back are perhaps the result of being handed down to another player. Ever notice how much blue is woven into gray uniforms? He signed "Orlando Cepeda" in thick marker at the top of the left thigh. Cepeda was dealt to the Cardinals the next season. Pants were included in the deal.
