1965 Ron Santo Homerun Baseball
Official National League (Giles) baseball was number 32 of the season and number 136 of Santo's career. Hit on September 23, 1965 at Wrigley Field. Ball is signed by Santo and has the date and homer number written on it by Rich Buhrke who caught the ball. Buhrke was a Wrigley Field ball hawk who was responsible for collecting hundreds of homerun balls that left the park. Comes with a letter from Buhrke and a copy of the April 25, 1977 Sports Illustrated which featured an article on him.
