1965 Sandy Koufax Signed Perfect Game Ticket (PSA)

1965 Sandy Koufax Signed Perfect Game Ticket (PSA)

1965 was another banner year for Hall of Fame Dodgers ace Sandy Koufax who earned his second unanimous Cy Young Award after winning the pitching triple crown with 26 wins, 382 strikeouts and 2.04 ERA. The pinnacle of that spectacular season came on September 9 when he became just the sixth modern pitcher to toss a perfect game and the first left-hander to turn the trick since 1880. The game was the ultimate pitcher's duel as the Cubs' Bob Hendley pitched a one-hitter allowing just one unearned run. This remains the only perfect game in which there was only one hit recorded. This extremely rare ticket stub is encapsulated by PSA and signed by both Sandy Koufax and Vin Scully who announced the game. Both signatures grade perfect 10s by PSA and the ticket appears to be in EX condition.
