1965 Topps Battle High Grade Complete Set
Reminiscent of the 1938 Horrors of War cards, the 1965 Topps Battle set depicts gruesome World War II battle scenes from the talented imagination of popular artist Norm Saunders. This desirable set is rarely seen in this high grade, with almost every card having razor sharp corners, great color, gloss and focus. A total of eight (8) cards were submitted by Leland’s and graded by PSA. Includes: Graded cards – PSA MINT 9: 1 card, #7 Ambushing the General (1 of 4, none higher). PSA NM-MT+ 8.5: 1 card, #2 Pearl Harbor (1 of 1, one higher). PSA NM-MT 8: 5 cards w/#1 Fight to the Death (1 of 7, none higher), #10 Medic Under Fire, 13 Death in the Street, 31 Battlefront Transfusion and 54 U.S. Sailor. Ungraded Cards – mostly NM to NM/MT. Grades 48% NM/MT or better, 34% NM, 18% EX/MT, two cards miscut and/or short.
