1965 Willie Mays San Francisco Giants Game Used Bat - NL HR Leader (MEARS A8)
Splendid Willie Mays 1965 (MVP season) Hillerich & Bradsby S2 game used uncracked bat with excellent use. Model "S2" is stamped on the knob with faint but legible "33 1/2" written in black marker (though MEARS has weighed the bat at 34 ounces), to go with its 35" length. Gifted from Mays to a union boss, heavy game use displayed includes cleat marks and grain swelling with some dead wood. The Say Hey Kid was on fire in the ‚65 season, leading the league with a career-high 52 home runs. MEARS A8 LOA for game use.
