1965 Willie Stargell All-Star Game Used Bat (35.25")

1965 Willie Stargell All-Star Game Used Bat (35.25")

A leader in every sense of the word, Willie Stargell became the father of the Pittsburgh Pirates after Clemente died. He is one of the rare hitters who could hit a ball completely out of Dodger Stadium (only one other player ever has), and he has a painted gold chair in the 500-level at Olympic Stadium in Montreal (the spot where he blasted a 535-foot shot). Adirondack 194VP was supplied to "Pops" for use in the 1965 All Star Game. It was his second of 7 All Star appearances. Stargell was part of one of the most devastating National league line-ups in All-Star history, boasting such players as Hank Aaron, Willie Mays, Pete Rose, Ernie Banks, Roberto Clemente, & Frank Robinson. Barrel is stamped with "1965 All Stars". Light use.
