1966 Bill Russell Photograph - Crashing the Boards (PSA Type I)
Original Type I photograph capturing Boston Celtics center Bill Russell during a game against the Cincinnati Royals in 1966. Russell is pictured in mid-air under the basket as he secures a rebound. The original UPI paper news caption (dated 4/1/66) remains affixed to the reverse, which identifies the onlooking players as Connie Dierking (Royals #24), Tom Hawkins (Royals #20) and K. C. Jones (Celtics #25). A UPI credit stamp also appears on the reverse. The photo (7x9") is in Excellent to Mint condition. Encapsulated as Type I Authentic by PSA.
