1966 Chicago Bears Team Signed Football with Piccolo and Sayers
The 1966 Chicago Bears sported a record of 5-7-2. This included 2 victories over rival Minnesota and a big win over the Baltimore Colts. This was the first year that the professional football season would end with an AFL and NFL team squaring off for the Championship in the inaugural Super Bowl. The '66 Bears also had a close loss that year to the eventual Super Bowl 1 Champion Green Bay Packers 13-6. This Wilson 1966 Chicago Bears inscribed faded football is signed by Brian Piccolo, George Halas, Gale Sayers, Mike Ditka, Dick Butkus, Rosey Taylor, Dave Whitsell and 24 others. Several of the signatures are quite faded and illegible although the named players above are in fact legible. Great piece of Bear history. Comes with a PSA/DNA LOA.
