1966 Dodger Player's Personal World Series Dodgers vs. Orioles Wire Photo Archive (80+)
This collection of 80+ wire photos from the 1966 World Series is great for photo-matching. The photos source from player John Kennedy and come in binders with Kennedy's name handwritten in front with the Dodgers roster. The set features such greats as Sandy Koufax, Brooks Robinson, Don Drysdale, Walt Alston and Jim Palmer. A photo of Koufax and Palmer shaking hands before they both started Game 2 of the series stands out, as the two would both go on to become Hall of Famers, and it would be Koufax' last game in the Majors. All photos measure 8x10". The Orioles embarrassed the Dodgers in the series, outscoring them 13-2 and shutting them out in the final three games.
