1966 Fritzie Zivic Boxing Hall of Fame Induction Trophy
Back before there was the International Boxing Hall of Fame, there was the Ring Boxing Hall of Fame. Here is the trophy awarded to Fritzie Zivic, "The Croat Comet", upon his induction into the Ring Hall of Fame in 1966. The 29" trophy is impressive, with a velvet, "jewel" encrusted crown on top. The engraved name plate states, "To Fritzie Zivic in Honor of his Being Voted Into the Boxing Ring Hall of Fame May 8, 1966 Presented by 'World Champions' ". A bit of dust and a few missing "jewels" do not diminish this great boxing artifact. All original and in EX condition.
