1966 Gaylord Perry All-Star Game Award
Gaylord Perry rarely pitched out of the bullpen (723 career games, 690 starts for a .954 percentage) but he was lights-out in relief during the 1966 All-Star Game, pitching two scoreless innings and earning the win in the National League's 2-1 victory at Busch Stadium in St. Louis. For his efforts, the eventual 300-game winner earned this award: a silver-plated punch bowl with 12 matching silver plated cups. The bowl is engraved "All Star Game 1966 Gaylord Perry" and marked "F.B. Rogers Silver Co. 5614" on the bottom of the bowl. Other than some tarnishing, the set is EX.
