1966 Jackie Robinson Signed Check PSA
Personal check drawn from the account of Jackie Robinson is dated 1-10-66 and signed on the bottom right as "Jack R. Robinson" in black ballpoint ink. Check from the Freedom National Bank of New York measures 5.75x2.75" and is made out to "High Ridge Gulf." Reverse has multiple cancellation stamps, there are a couple of spots of minor discoloration on back, presents nicely. More than just a sports and civil rights icon, Jackie's post-baseball career is equally fascinating, as in the year in which this check was written, Robinson was named as the General Manager of the Brooklyn Dodgers... of the Continental Football League.
