1966 Keith Richards Handwritten and Signed Letter

1966 Keith Richards Handwritten and Signed Letter

Earlier in 1966, the Rolling Stones released “19th Nervous Breakdown,” and by the looks of Keith Richards handwriting on this rare correspondence, Mick may have been writing with the Stones guitarist in mind - vintage scratch, in very bold, black ball-point, with Keith’s signature at bottom, and a very considerate “P.S. Good luck always.” Today’s pop-stars rarely get this charitable in fan letter responses. Other than a small separation in upper portion (above writing), which has been nicely repaired, letter is in Excellent condition with normal mailing folds. Includes original envelope as well, post-marked from London “31-8-66,” to address of lucky recipient in Wood Haven, New York, who is currently the fan club president for Alvin Lee and Ten Years After.
