1966 Topps NL Batting Leaders USA (PSA 9) and Venezuela (PSA 4) Cards
Each a classic in its own right, these two 1966 Topps NL Batting Leaders cards appear identical. One is from the original set sold in the U.S., card #215, featuring Roberto Clemente, Hank Aaron and Willie Mays, with this card encapsulated PSA Mint 9. The other is from the rare Venezualen set issued that same year. Virtually identical to the naked eye, the issue from Venezuela clearly shows the different coloration and cheaper card stock utilized in the South American set, which only included the first 370 cards, many of which contain back damage due to mounting in an accompanying card book. While this example does not have that noted "feature" on the reverse, this rarity is also graded and encapsulated by PSA VG-EX 4.
