1966 Topps Superman Unopened Wax Box - BBCE Wrapped with Premium LOA
Offered is a fresh to the hobby complete original VERY HIGH GRADE unopened wax box of 1966 Topps "Superman" cards, produced in conjunction with the very popular TV series. This highly attractive display box features on the box top a black-and-white image of George Reeves, who portrayed Superman, along with the set title boldly printed in blue and yellow against the red background. This is a rare unopened box, housing twenty-four packs with each pack containing 10 cards, for a total of 240 cards. This store display box is bright and bold, with no shelf wear as this box has been in the possession of our consignor since they were distributed by Topps in 1966 and has never seen the light of day since the 2017 National Convention. The box presents exactly as it did over 50 years ago and in fact, we didn't even crack the box before presenting it to BBCE for authentication! This is an outstanding complete unopened wax box from this very popular non-sport issue, authenticated, wrapped and comes with a Premium LOA from Steve Hart at BBCE.
