1967-68 Freddie Crawford New York Knicks Game Worn Jersey

1967-68 Freddie Crawford New York Knicks Game Worn Jersey

Freddie Crawford was drafted by the Knicks in the 1963 and 1964 NBA drafts. The 6'4"shooting guard from St. Bonaventure finally played for the New York Knicks during the 1966-67 and 1967-68 seasons, and part of the way through the 1967-68 season, Crawford was traded to the Los Angeles Lakers. In Crawford's two seasons with the Knicks, the team was starting to assemble players who would be a part of one or two of their championship seasons of 1969-70 and 1972-73 - players such as Willis Reed, Bill Bradley, Dick Barnett, Walt Frazier, and Phil Jackson. Early Knick jerseys are hard to come by. This is a blue away jersey, with white and orange trim. The jersey shows extensive use on the back, with wear to "Crawford" and the number "4". The front is in relatively good shape: "New York", the number "4" and "Crawford" are all sewn on. Washing instruction tagging is on the front tail, with a loose "MacGregor" tag.
