1967-68 Super Bowl II Champion Green Bay Packers Signed Football
In January 1968, the Packers defeated the Oakland Raiders to capture their second straight Super Bowl. "The Duke" model tan leather football manufactured by Wilson. On one panel below the white leather laces is the manufacturer's information, "GREEN BAY PACKERS," "SUPER WORLDS CHAMPS 1967" and the simulated Pete Rozelle NFL Commissioner signature stamped in black. On the other panel directly below the laces is the model name, inflation valve and inflation information stamped in black. On this panel and on the two "unstamped" panels are approximately fifty signatures of the 1967-68 team players, coaches and trainers in black and blue ink. Signatures include Bart Starr, Ray Nitschke, Jerry Kramer, Willie Davis, Henry Jordan, Willie Wood, Bob Jeter, Marv Fleming, Elijah Pitts, and Boyd Dowler (no Lombardi). The signatures grade a 7 overall. A fantasic piece from one of the greatest NFL teams.
