1967 and 1968 Dallas Chaparrals ABA Media Guides
Quickie Quiz: What was the name of the ABA team that later became the San Antonio Spurs? The answer is the Dallas Chaparrals, who played across the Lone Star State between 1967 and 1973. This lot features the franchise's first two media guides, the first being spiral bound with an ABA logo on the cover. It appears to be in NRMT condition. The second shows some slight wear to the cover but grades EX-MT. Early ABA publications such as these were hand-printed by the team and are very rare as few were ever printed.
