1967 Boston Red Sox American League Championship Silver Box
Carl Yastrzemski and the rest of the 1967 Red Sox fell short in their championship quest as St. Louis defeated them in the World Series that year. Still, this silver cigarette box with wood liner divider inside was presented to the players from the AL Champions by the mayor of Boston during the Fall of '67. The top of the lid is engraved "BOSTON RED SOX 1967 AMERICAN LEAGUE CHAMPIONS PRESENTED BY JOHN F. COLLINS, MAYOR." It is in EX condition. Stamped "EPCA Silverplate by Poole." It measures 7.5x3.5" and has some minor scratches.
