1967 Eddie Mathews Game Used Bat

1967 Eddie Mathews Game Used Bat

One of the most impressive third basemen in the history of the game, Eddie Matthews was also widely known for his intimidating swing, often compared to Mickey Mantle in terms of power, and twice leading the National League in Home Runs. This piece, used by the power hitter in one of his last years in professional ball, is a dark tan-wood model k44 Louisville Slugger bat measuring 36 inches and weighing 36 ounces. The number 7 is written and underlined on the knob, and the bat shows some of the best game use we have seen, with ball marks throughout. A great looking piece for display in any collection. Matches factory records.
