1967 Johnny Bench First Cincinnati Reds Game Program

1967 Johnny Bench First Cincinnati Reds Game Program

Johnny Bench began his Hall of Fame career on August 28, 1967, going 0-3 at the plate while catching all nine innings of a 3-2 Reds loss to Philadelphia at Crosley Field. From that very game comes this extremely rare Cincinnati program that is scored inside in pen. There are some minor pen markings on the front and back covers, and the scorecard reveals that Don Pavletich was scheduled to catch for the Reds but "John Bench" was penned in for the game. A one-of-a-kind keepsake!
