1967 Kabaya Leaf Near Set With Saduharu Oh (95/105)
This very rare set is the cornerstone of international baseball card collecting. Over 20 Japanese Hall of Famers are represented here. Some of the fronts resemble the 1959 Topps baseball cards, Included here are: #11 Sadaharu Oh EX, #12 Shigeo Nagashima EX, #409 Isao Harimoto EX-MT and #302 Masanori Murakami - who was the first Japanese Major Leaguer EX. From 1967 to the early 1970s, these sets were sold into the U.S. via mail order. This is the only major Japanese set produced during this time, making this a highly coveted item.
