1967 Tony Conigliaro Boston Red Sox Game Worn Pants

1967 Tony Conigliaro Boston Red Sox Game Worn Pants

From the "Impossible Dream" season of 1967, these home pants are from fan-favorite Tony Conigliaro, whose career was cut short after having been hit in the eye with a pitch that summer, severely derailing a burgeoning career. The pants are in nice condition, yet they show use. There's red piping on the side of each leg, and inside the waistband is the McAuliffe tag, along with a "67" year tag. "25" (player number) is sewn in red thread along with "34" (waist) and "26" (inseam). The Red Sox won the pennant but lost the 1967 Series to the St. Louis Cardinals.
