1967 Topps Baseball Set (NRMT to NRMT+)
Complete at 609 cards. Set features a pair of rookies that would go on to be dominate throughout the 1970’s, Tom Seaver and Rod Carew. Set appears to be made fresh from vending or wax packs years ago and has been stored in a binder and pages since. Very conservatively graded, this set averages a consistent NRMT to NRMT+ with many, many higher-grade examples throughout. The high-number series is equally as strong as the balance of the set, if not better. Several higher-grade examples include #30 Kaline (NM-MT), 242 Aaron/Clemente RBI Leaders (NM-MT), 266 Pittsburgh Power (NM-MT+), 337 Morgan (NM-MT), 361 Clemente Checklist (NM-MT), 422 Wilhem (NM-MT+), 475 Jim Palmer (NM-MT, o/c), 480 McCovey (NM-MT), 570 Wills (NRMT+), and 580 Colavito (NM-MT). Key cards grade as follows: #150 Mantle (NRMT+), 200 Mays (NRMT), 210 Bob Gibson (NM-MT+), 215 Banks (Mint, o/c), 250 Aaron (NRMT+), 355 Yaz (NM-MT+), 569 Carew rookie (NRMT), 581 Seaver rookie (NRMT+), 600 Brooks Robinson (NM-MT), and 604 Red Sox team card (NRMT+, o/c). All cards have a fresh gloss to them. Investment grade quality. If you don’t want to spend $40,000+ on a mint set then this would be perfect.
