1968-69 Jack Ham Penn State Orange Bowl Ring
Nice Penn State University ring earned by future Pro Football Hall of Famer Jack Ham. The Nittany Lions went a perfect 10-0 during the regular season in 1968 and capped off the campaign with a 15-14 victory over Kansas at the Orange Bowl on January 1, 1969, placing second in the AP rankings only to 10-0 Ohio State. Size 10.5 ring has Penn State University 1855 on the bezel surrounding an "S" with two blue stones. Left shank has "Orange Bowl 1969" wording with "Eastern Champs 1968" on the right. Stamped inside 10K and also Balfour, with Ham's initials engraved inside. EX-MT condition. The fabled linebacker brought the winning tradition to Pittsburgh as he captured four Super Bowls as part of the famed "Steel Curtain" defense.
