<p>Nice action B&W shot of Joe Willie Namath dropping back to pass. Signed by Namath in black felt tip marker; included is Namath's sometimes trademark "X12", which he often adds to his signature instead of adding "#12". This appeared on the Sporting News cover dated Dec. 28, 1968, before Namath led the Jets to their shocking upset Super Bowl victory over the Baltimore Colts, the first ever victory for the upstart American Football League in the Super Bowl. <span style="font-size: 10pt;">Namath was AFL MVP in 1968. </span><span style="font-size: 10pt;">F</span><span style="font-size: 10pt;">ramed, 15.5x19.5".</span></p>
