1968 Johnny Bench Game Worn Cap

1968 Johnny Bench Game Worn Cap

This cap of Johnny Bench, worn years before the Hall of Famer played his part in the powerful mid-seventies Big Red Machine line-up, time travels from 1968 when the great catcher was N.L. Rookie of the Year, Gold Glove winner, and All-Star participant. Game-worn during that season, cap is made by Wilson, with tag inside band. Size 7 5/8 (Bench was notorious for having a large head) is stamped on back inside of band, and Bench’s # "5" in vintage black marker hides under the brim. Fine use inside and out, with a few small rips. As good of a Bench cap that exists.
