1968 Muhammad Ali Anti War Protest March Poster
First specimen we have seen of this poster from the era when Ali would not fight in Vietnam because of his religious beliefs, and was banned from fighting in the ring (how ironic?). Superb piece transcends boxing, and shows the kind of MAN he was. This march was held in the protest hotbed: San Francisco. Compatriots that day (listed on the poster) include Black Panther Bobby Seale, and militant actress Vanessa Redgrave. Approximately window card size, has a couple of pinholes o/w EX-MT. "Against the War Racism, Poverty, Repression and the Draft."
