1968 St. Louis Cardinals Tour of Japan Photo Album
12 x 13" photo album features approximately 30 vintage 8 x X 10" shots from the St. Louis Cardinals 1968 tour of Japan. The ornate red cover has, "St. Louis Cardinals Goodwill Tour of Japan, 1968, Yomuri Shimbun, Hochi Shimbun, Tokyo, Japan" embossed in gold. Photos are neatly pasted in the book and well preserved. Original captions in Japanese are below each picture. Some classic shots include the Cards arrival at the airport, Bob Gibson pitching to a Japanese batter, batting practice showing Tim McCarver and Orlando Cepeda, player introductions and aerial views of Japanese Stadiums. Candid photos of the players and their wives touring Japan are also included. The album is EX-MT, the photographs are NRMT.
