1968 Topps Land of the Giants Original Artwork
One of Topps' rarest non-sport test issues was the 1968 Land of the Giants card set. Produced in limited quantities and distributed in select markets, the cards did not go over well with kids, and the larger project was scrapped. This original art measures about 3.5x5.5" and is of card No. 42. Interestingly about this set, it features full color cards of characters and images of the show, but the backs of most cards have comic strip storylines rather than the usual descriptions. Framed and mounted with a colorized version. Very nice display piece.
