Measuring 31" x 26", this great vintage poster of the 1968 World Champion Detroit Tigers includes CY Young winner Denny McLain and World Series MVP Mickey Lolich. The Tigers finished the '68 season with a record of 103-59. The team advanced through the American League playoffs before defeating the defending champion St. Louis Cardinals in seven games in the World Series. The Tigers came back from a 3-1 deficit to win three straight games - only the third team to do so. The 1969 Detroit Tigers became a unifying and peaceful force for the city of Detroit.
