1969 Carl Yastrzemski Batting Helmet
Obtained from Yaz right after the game when that sort of thing was still possible. Old style flapless helmet has the original Bosox "B" in front in superior red & blue. American Baseball Cap size 7 sticker on the inside tells the tale. On it is printed in ink by this early collector, "Carl Yastrzemski July 31, 1969 Thurs." This was the day he received it from this 1960's baseball icon. Cheap white paint "8" on back gives this tremendous character and matches perfectly with what it "should" look like. Team repairs to the head and great wear. The best.
