1969 Eddie Watt Baltimore Orioles Signed Game Worn Jersey
Baltimore Orioles home jersey worn by pitcher Eddie Watt in 1969. The white flannel jersey is lettered "Orioles" across the front and features the number "39" on the left breast and reverse. "Watt" is lettered on the reverse, directly above the number. All front letters and all numerals are applied in orange tackle twill on black felt. All reverse letters are applied in black felt. It appears that both the front and back numbers, as well as the name on the reverse have been restored/replaced. An MLB "100th Anniversary" patch appears on the left sleeve (the patch was worn by all Major League teams in 1969; which conclusively dates the jersey to that year). Both the Wilson tag and year/set tag have been removed from the front left tail. Watt has signed the jersey in black marker (grading 7/10) on the left front tail. In addition to the alterations and removals previously mentioned, the jersey displays moderate wear, including several team repairs. One of the buttons is missing and several other buttons have been replaced.
