1969 Forrest Gregg Game Worn And Autographed Football Shoes
They are heavier than Frankenstein's boots, without cleats and cradled the feet of a darn fine football player. Forrest Gregg's game-worn shoes from the 1969 season are a lead-like throwback. Gregg, a nine-time Pro Bowl pick on the offensive line, opted for Riddell's ridged-sole coaching-style footwear to wear on the field for the Green Bay Packers that season. He signed in blue marker under the left tongue "Forrest Gregg Worn 1969" (10/10). The black-leather pair, which came directly from Gregg, has the original laces and plastic white belt that snaked through the upper rim, and Gregg's name is handwritten on the heels. If you ever wanted to step into the heavily worn shoes of a legend in the trenches, this is your chance.
