1969 Hank Aaron Game Used Home Run Bat (35")
Historic hardwood was responsible for a Summer of Love four-bagger en route to the largest career home run total in the history of the sport. It was acquired by a gentleman at Crosley Field to watch the Reds play host to the Braves. In typical fashion, Hammerin' Hank stung the home team with a long blast, and later handed that bat over to this man with his compliments. That man couldn't remember the precise date of the game, but Hank hit four home runs in Cincinnati that season, numbers 511, 531, 534 and 548. Bat is healthily adorned with spike and ball marks, with strong barrel wear and pine tar staining. Adirondack Big Stick 63A has number "44" in marker on knob. Go get an autograph when you get a chance, and you've got one of the best Aaron pieces on the market. LOA.
