Killebrew had his best season the year he donned these pants, a significant achievement in that he was coming back from a hamstring injury suffered during the '68 All-Star Game, costing him the second half of the season. The soft-spoken man incongruously nicknamed "Killer" posted career highs in homers (49) and RBIs (140) and was named AL MVP. He blasted 573 career dingers, good for 7th all-time. The home pants are blue pinstriped and have the "Wilson [size] 36" label on the inner waistband and a cable stitched "Killebrew 1969-24 Set 3", with a "3" between them as well as on the interior of the button fly. Pants show excellent use.
