1969 Jets Super Bowl III Team-Signed Print
Superbowl III was the first officially named "Superbowl", and is widely regarded as one of the biggest upsets in sports history. The 13-1 Baltimore Colts had a strong defense, League MVP Earl Morrall at quarterback, and Johnny Unitas ready to go if needed, and were favored to win by as much as 20 points. Five turnovers and a stellar offense led to the Jets memorable 16 - 7 win, and their victory is celebrated in this superb poster by noted artist Ron Lewis. The poster measures 25 1/4" x 33" with an "Upset of the Century" headline above a colorful and exciting montage. It is boldly signed in green sharpie by coach Weeb Eubank, game MVP Joe Namath, Emerson Boozer, Matt Snell, George Sauer and 23 other players, many of whom have added their uniform numbers.
