1969 Juarez DeLima vs. Bennie Briscoe On-Site Fight Poster
On February 14, 1969, at the Felt Forum in Madison Square Garden, rising middleweight star Bennie Briscoe took on Juarez De Lima in the main event. In a hard fought battle De Lima prevailed, winning a close ten-round split decision over Briscoe. We offer here an original, on site poster for this event. This poster is cardboard picturing both fighters and featuring bold color and print and bold, clear images. The poster is generally clean with some creasing, edge and corner wear and small tack holes at the top, measuring 22" x 28". A rare and early poster of Philadelphia's pride and joy, Bennie Briscoe.
